Dr. Amy D. McFarland
Dr. McFarland received her Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Washington State
University and holds a Master of Arts in teaching and a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from the University
of Puget Sound.
Dr. McFarland is the Founder and President of Quatsabadi, an organization specializing in the development
of partnerships with school systems in need of support to facilitate student success, particularly for Native
American youth. She has also served as Superintendent of the Chief Leschi Schools (Puyallup Tribe of
Indians) and the Executive Director of Teaching and Learning and Director of Human Resources for the
Tacoma Public Schools.
